High density polyethylene - HDPE are part of the polyolefin family.
HDPE have excellent mechanical properties, good friction coefficient, good wear resistance and can be used in the food industry.
However, they are UV rays and stress cracking sensitive, they have bad heat resistance, their collage is nearly impossible, and dimensional properties are a notable disadvantage.
Polypropylenes have good mechanical strength enabling them to be an alternative to HDPE, they also have excellent bending fatigue properties, good temperature resistance, non-cracking under load, good thermal inertia and can be used in the food industry.
They are UV rays sensitve, collage, moulding and high frequency welding are difficult if not impossible.

Polyethylene 300 exists in natural (white) and black, mainly used in boiler making and in low-demanding applications, devices and tanks construction in the chemical industry, water treatment tanks.
It has excellent welding properties, excellent resistance to chemicals, no physiological consequences, pratically no moisture absorption.
HDPE 300 durably resists to UV rays in contrast to the natural one which is to banish for outdoor applications.
However, it has low abrasion resistance, stiffness and mechanical strength.
It exists in the form of plates :
- 2000x1000 mm, thickness 2 to 30 mm
- 3000x1500 mm, thickness 2 to 30 mm
It exists in the form of full rounds, diameter 10 to 200 mm, length 2000 mm.

Polyethylene 500 is available in natural (white), black and also on demand to factories in color, mainly used in the food industry, in the conveyor sector as well as in the mechanical engineering sector.
Natural virgin, black and colors HDPE 500 is different from black regenerated HDPE 500.
It has excellent mechanical properties, offers an interesting acids resistance, without physiological consequences, its sliding properties are correct, good resistance to cutting and scratching, very low moisture absorption, can be used under low temperatures.
The natural (white) can’t be used outdoors because of its bad weather resistance, its abrasion resistance remains average, as well as its rigidity, in addition it has a strong thermal expansion.
It exists in the form of plates 2000x1000 mm, thickness 1 to 100 mm
3000x1250 mm on request, thickness 110 to 150 mm on request.

Polyethylene 1000 exists in natural (white), black, green and blue-grey, it is mainly used in the food industry, handling, packaging (stars, screws ...), as well as for coating hoppers, slips (chain guides) ...
Natural virgin HDPE 1000 (white), black, green, grey-blue is different from HDPE 1000 regenerated black, green.
It has excellent wear and abrasion resistance, very low friction and sliding coefficient, high resilience, it is self-lubricating, it has no moisture absorption, it can be used under very low temperatures, resistant to corrosion and chemicals, without physiological consequences.
Natural HDPE 1000 (white) is not weather resistant, and has low rigidity.
It exists in the form of plates 2000x1000 mm, thickness 1 to 100 mm
3000x1250 mm on request.
It exists in the form of round bars diameter 20 to 200 mm, length 2000 mm.
