Polyacrylics – PMMA have an excellent transparency, a good UV rays resistance, a shiny surface, an easy thermoforming, an ease of gluing.

But they are very brittle, fragile and easily scratched, their thermal resistance is limited, they have an average resistance to chemicals and can crack under load.
